Judith Blöcker and Christine Keppler are the names of the two scouts who will be exploring science and meetings destination Berlin from 19 to 21 September. They are both currently sixth-term students of event management at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef. In the course of their studies they have already obtained work experience in various fields of the events industry:
Judith Blöcker gained insight into event and destination marketing during internships at Kiel Week and Lübeck Travemünde Marketing. During a further internship in the office of the German president she learnt all about Berlin’s political importance as the German capital.
Christine Keppler was able to experience the events industry through the eyes of a major company during her internships. At Johnson & Johnson in England she worked in the group’s accounting and marketing departments, at Bayer AG she gained a lot of experience in organising management conferences in the Corporate Events division.
Being adept camera women and familiar with the social media, we can expect some fascinating reports from their joint trip to Berlin.
